About SEV LAW
SEV LAW Professional Corporation is an established Ontario law firm providing legal advice and representation in corporate and commercial law, real estate, civil and commercial litigation, tax law, wills, estates and trusts, and mortgage financing.
SEV LAW and its predecessor firm have served clients since 1994. For more than three decades, the firm has acted for individuals, families, entrepreneurs, businesses, lenders, borrowers, property owners, investors, estate trustees, beneficiaries, and litigants across a broad range of legal matters. The firm has grown through longstanding relationships, repeat clients, and referrals, reflecting the trust clients have placed in the firm over time.
Clients often come to us with matters that involve more than a single legal issue. A business matter may involve tax, financing, succession planning, or litigation risk. A real estate transaction may involve corporate ownership, lending, estate planning, or a dispute. A litigation matter may affect a client’s business, property, reputation, finances, or future plans.
SEV LAW’s role is to understand the client’s objectives, identify the legal and practical risks, explain the available options, and provide advice directed to the client’s best interests.
Our Values
SEV LAW is guided by careful judgment, professional responsibility, and client-centred service. We aim to provide advice that clients can understand, use, and rely on when making important decisions.
Legal matters often affect businesses, properties, families, investments, reputations, and future plans. Our objective is to help clients protect their interests through clear advice, practical solutions, careful documentation, and effective representation.
A Connected Practice
SEV LAW’s practice areas are closely connected. Corporate and commercial work often intersects with tax planning, financing, estate freezes, shareholder agreements, business succession, real estate ownership, and litigation risk. Real estate transactions may involve mortgages, private lending, corporate structures, estate issues, or closing disputes. Litigation may arise from contracts, business relationships, property transactions, mortgages, tax issues, or estate matters.
This connected approach allows the firm to assist clients with related legal needs in a practical and coordinated way. Rather than treating each issue in isolation, we consider the broader legal, financial, and commercial context in which the matter arises.
